I know I am a day late but I felt the need to spend the day with the family and catch up with my zzz’s. I am doing very well. I have been busy with work, spiritual healing and rest. As you gathered around the table with your family I pray you started to think of what you are blessed with. I know we can always look at what we do not have or what we wish we had. For an example in my life right now it a way to pay the bills. In my thinking, I see everything as a human would see, but if I give it over to Him I know He will figure everything out. If I look at what I have I start to feel blessed a roof over my head, a car that I can call mine, a job that still paying the bills and friends and family that still care for me. I know personally it very hard at time to count my blessings as they sing in the old hymn called Count your blessings one by one. What are you blessed with today?
What does the bible say about blessings?
The Bible has a lot to say about blessing. As we read in Psalm 118:1-18 He talks about how we are to go to him and his strength is more abundant than any other. If we look toward Him who else will we need to focus on? We need to focus more on Him and not on our own understandings.
In James 1:12 James was talking with the tribes telling them to be 12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. We need to be faithful and steadfast when we are being tried by sin and focus on his will and way.
Also in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 He tells us “18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” As we go through life we need to be giving Him thanks for all the good times and bad time in our lives and not to complain about what has gone wrong or how we are not happy about what going on. He will provide what we need and continue to bless us. As you read today what things in your life are you feel like you are not blessed but need to start to feel blessed about?
As you are still spending time with your family and friends do not forget about the small things that you are blessed with. We also need not forget about what the season is about and not get stuck in the commercialism of Christmas.
I am continuing to pray for everyone and keep you in my prayers. I am doing well and keep looking toward what God has in His plans for me. I know it greater than I can ever imagine. Below are a few other posts that I have written to help you out in your journey in life.
Have a Great day,
