Yesterday I had an opportunity to attend a meetup here in San Antonio, Texas. The subject was on Youtube for business. One of the reasons I attended the meetup was due to the fact that I have a background in filmmaking and love to create stories. I came away with some good information and did learn a few things along the way. I do not like to toot my whistle too much and become very humble on who I talk to at these meetings due to the fact I could hand out ten business cards and never hear from a person. Starting today if I get a business card I am going to reach out to the person the next day. What does the Bible say about learning?
The Bible tells us…..
There are several verses that tell us something about learning the Bible and how we are to treat His knowledge. In Proverbs, there are several verses that give great instructions on determining his way.
Proverbs 1:5 Let the wise hear and increase in learning and the one who understands obtain guidance.
Proverbs 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.
Proverbs 10:17 Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.
All these verses are designed to show us a path he wants us to practice. In 2 Timothy He tells us What we should do with the knowledge.
2 Timothy 3:7 Always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
In Philippians, He tells us to exercise what we nave been taught and practice it in our everyday life.
Philippians 4:9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
As you read the scriptures take what you have learned and memorize it. Then practice what you have learned or teach others.
As you go through your day if you come up with a problem take it to the Lord. Then look up verses that will help you. I will continue to pray for you.If you have any questions feel free to ask me and I can help. Below are two past blogs that will help you through your journey.
