I am not a person that like to share my struggles through life, but feel like I have opened up about everything else in my life why not let you know about other problems I face daily. I am not sharing for you to feel bad for me or expect anything in return. I sharing since it what the Bible tells us to do.
Most of my life has been living from paycheck to paycheck. Some of my bills include a car payment, students loans, insurance for the car, rent for my apartment, apartment insurance, gas for the car, groceries and the new expense being cleaning kits for the trach since insurance only gives me one kit a day and most times need three a day. I bring home $1,200 and my bills add up to $2,000 a month. At one point I was able to get help with government programs but was told I make to much now. I also have had some setbacks since haveing 2 major surgeries this year and not able to work for a few weeks has not helped out either. I sometimes get side gigs doing what I love is filming and editing videos. I know what you are saying why are you not in your field of passion. I have placed dozens of resumes out but never had anyone call me for an interview wich bring me back to getting a job to be able to live. What does the Bible say about helping each other?
What does the Bible say about…..
The Bible tells us to help one another. As mentioned in Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” As Christ was walking the earth he stoped several times to help the people that needed him. Most of the time we are only given a glimps into his life but I can believe He helped a lot more people than what the Bible tells.
Other verses that show us His love for us and how we are to lean on Him include Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Another one is Acts 20:35 “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” In both of these verses, he show us how he wants us to come to him and to give to others. What are some of your burdens or needs? How has God blessed you this week?
As I said above I am not expecting anything, If you are blessed and want to bless me let me know and I can show you ways to help. As we pray today to let us not forget our country in need. All the other people out there that think a gun is an answer to the problems out there. I am still praying for all you out there and continue to lean aginst His will.
Thank you for the continued support. Forgive me for not placing a blog a day last week. I had an opportunity to work at VBS all week and had a blast. I have been doing VBS for five years and can say it a blessing. Below is a few other posts that will help you through your journey.
Have a blessed day,
