It is finally official! I proposed to Jen!

If you are not following me on social media then this is new and exciting news for you. I had decided to finally after two years and a half to make her a part of the Moss clan plus I will confess I had trouble spelling her last name. Is there an l before u or an er after the t. All joking aside I can not wait to see what God brings us in our life.

I was listening to Levi Lusko on Air1 on the way to dinner after our wonderful photo session. The subject he was talking about was marriage how he looked toward it and what it became. I am putting all my eggs in Gods basket. I have no clue what he has planned for our life But know it will be great! What does the Bible say about marriage?

The Bible Mentions Marriage as?

The Bible has a lot to say in on this subject but I am only going to just give a few passages that come to mind. The first one that I can think of is 2 Corinthians 6:14 “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?” To me this a great start on finding the right one. If the other person does not have the same thoughts and beliefs about God or she/he does not attend church and you do it will never work out. You will aways be arguing about what you believe is right or struggle to have peace with the Lord.

The next one is called the Love passage. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 it says “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” This is a great one because you are doing all this it will not be hard at all for the marriage to work. I am not saying you will not have hard times just saying it will come easier and easier to love each other. You have always heard the saying never go to be angry this falls amongst this saying.

another good verse is Proverbs 18:22 “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.”  This verse is pretty self-explanatory.  If you are single still I know it is like. Keep following his will and He will bring your prince charming soon and very soon. Thank God for each day you have with Him and be blessed.

In conclusion…

As you go through today remember that God is in control and He wants you to be happy and blessed. I know I mention that a lot but if it was not true I would not be today. Reach out to someone and bless them too.

Thank you for all your daily support. I know this is the way God wants me to go and can not wait to see the blessing that will come our way. I know me and Jen have been through a lot dealing with multiple surgeries and dialysis with her. When we say our wedding vows we have teased and said that we already have dealt with the sickness and heath and the poor part of life. We are both blessed and happy. Thanks again and below are two past blogs that will encourage your journey through life.

Special moments in life.

I can’t find the one?

Have a blessed day,

Carlton Lucas Moss
