Do you have someone lifting you up?

I want to start with an update on my surgery. Everything went very well. The Dr. is very pleased with the outcome of the surgery. I feel not as weak as I did with the last surgery. Do you have a group of people that lift you up in a time of need? I know I do am very blessed.

When you are down, do you have a person that you find that you go to lift you up and help you get to solve a problem? It might be a brother, sister, a parent or friend. As hard as life is we all need each other. I heard you could go insane without human contact. The people tat mean a lot to me are my family, Jennifer, and friends whether it be long distance or here in town. Without these people, I would be lost in the sea of life. What does the Bible tell of friends and lifting you up?

What does the Bible tell of friends and lifting you up?

Most times in the Bible it talks about prayer being a way of lifting each other up. I love how Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 puts friendship to be. “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” This is the true reason for friendship. God does not want us alone in lfe.

In James 5:16 it tells us “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” Prayer is a very strong sword that was given to us. As believers, we should use it every day. Even when we are on the top we need to pray.

One of the verses I lean on a lot is Matthew 18:20  “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” This verse is very strong for we because I know if I have a prayer request and I pray he listening. I also know he will answer the request in his timing, not mine.  How is your friend doing? when the last time you talked with them or went out?

In conclusion……

As you go through today remember the important people today. Reach out to a friend and ask them if they need you to pray for them. Even if you are not someone’s friend as the same question. We all have needs and hurt in different ways.

Thank you for taking this Journey with me. I am blessed to call you friends. Have a blessed day. I have included two past blogs to help you through your journey.

Has the world been too much a problem?

Who is the true parent?

 Again have blessed day,
