What part of the truck are you?

Ok, I am not going crazy on this topic. Hear me out on this one. I had an awesome night last night with my sweetheart Jen. We rented the movie Monster Truck. The movie is about this awesome truck that had a monster as its engine. The truck did not go without the monster. I called it an oversized octopus seeing how it was able to swim. It got me to think what part am I in the kingdom of God? Am I the toe, an ear or the finger? I know that god has major plans for me and I am very creative.

What does the bible say about the family of Christ?

I know that we are equipped with special skills from the Lord. Some of us can sing a joyful noise, others have musical talents, and then we have some that are very strong prayer warriors. The bible tells us in Ephesians 4:16  that the body is a joint part of Christ. “From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”  In 1 Peter 4:10-11 it talks about our gifts and how we are to use them.  “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. ” I am also reminded of  1 Corinthians 12:12-31 that summarizes what God wants us to say and be in Him. “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.” I know it kind of weird but cool at the same time. I can be the foot and someone else the hand but when we come together we show how Christ is in us. As I was putting it in a truck form because in Texas we all drives trucks. Or is that what we want to people to think. What part are you?

  1. You really make it appear really easy with your presentation however I find this matter to be really something which I think I might by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and very broad for me. I’m taking a look forward on your next submit, I will try to get the cling of it!
