Smile. It might make someone’s day.

Thank you to everyone that is following me daily it means a lot to me. I want to update you on everything that is happening in mine and Jen’s life. We are both doing very well. Jen has dialysis three times a week. I would also like to think the singles group from First Baptist Church here in San Antonio for providing the meals for me and Jen this month it was a blessing and a kind heart that all of you have.  She is also the countdown for school to be all over and get a wonderful break for the summer. I am still working and getting ready for surgery 77 on June the 2nd.

What does a smile do to you?

I have in life been a very happy person and very laid back person. I do not let the little things get in the way of being happy. Most of the time I can be found taking on step at a time and if asked what I am worried about I say nothing because I can not control tomorrow. If you ask me to plan for something I can’t at this time I will say I do not know and be patient with the outcome God has it under control. A smile can change someone life if you take the time. It like a silent prayer for the person that might need it today, Or it can be the thing that turns an upside down frown right side up. Attitude is everything in life. Why not try to smile 60% of the day and count how meany lives you lift up!

What does the bible say about a good attitude?

When you are at work and not wanting to smile about what you are doing but grumbling here a good verse to remember. It is Philippians 2:14-15 “Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.” That would be a very big start in being more happy at what you do.  Here another verse to keep close to the heart. It is Proverbs 17:22 “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”  I would never like to be a person who dries up bones that seem very harsh but know exactly what it means. And the last one I will share is one of my favorites is Psalm 118:24 “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” It is not saying this is the day that I or you have made but this is the day THE LORD HAS MADE and we are TO REJOICE and BE GLAD IN IT! Remember who made you and how he wants you to be a very joyful person.

In conclusion…

As you go through life remember who brought you here and His reason for your life is bigger than you ever thought it would be. Again if you are not happy with what you are doing do not do it for man but for God. He has a plan that will be reviled in his time. Just wait and seek Him.

Again, Thank you for following me on my journey in life. Have a blessed day I will keep praying for you if you keep praying for me. Today I leave you with two past blogs that will help with your journey too
